Frommer's Review
This 40-year-old, nondescript hotel is your best bet for reasonably priced lodging just minutes away from Tokyo Station. From the north Yaesu exit, turn left onto Sotobori Dori; it will be on your right, just before Eitai Dori. Surprising for this location, it offers mostly Japanese-style tatami rooms, along with some Western-style rooms with beds. I personally prefer the Japanese-style rooms, especially the most expensive ones, which have a nice, traditional feel and come with sitting alcove and Japanese-style deep tub. Only Japanese breakfasts are available; if you can't stomach rice and fish in the morning, opt for a room without breakfast and subtract ¥800 ($7.60) per person from the rates listed.
