The Mini-Time Machine Museum of Miniatures

Okay, so maybe adults will like this museum as much, or more, than kids. Still, a museum full of dollhouses seems like a museum for children, even if one of the dollhouses is 200 years old. This private museum is filled with more than 200 miniature houses, including a rococo palace, an old English pub, and a Craftsman bungalow patterned after Pasadena's famous Gamble house, which was designed by architects Charles and Henry Greene. There are miniature houses from all over the world, including a Mexican cantina and Thai spirit houses. One wing of the museum is devoted to haunted and enchanted houses that are full of witches and fairies. Keep an eye out for the miniature violin-maker's studio inside an actual violin.
