At this restaurant in Tucson's restored downtown train station, a railroad theme prevails throughout, with old trolley track used for a foot rail at the bar and railroad spikes turned into table lamps. I've had good pizza here, and the cassoulet is some of the best I've had anywhere. I know not everyone loves Mexican food as much as I do, so, if you're more the soup-and-sandwich or pizza-and-calzone type, Maynard's makes a great downtown lunch option. There's also a little market here where you can grab some gourmet-to-go food or a bottle of wine for your dinner in the dining room. As much as possible ingredients are organic, local, or sustainably produced. The restaurant garden even includes a citrus grove.
