Frommer's Review
Spanning both sides of the Overseas Highway and set entirely on waterfront property, this huge, two-shore marina-and-hotel complex was closed and undergoing a complete renovation at press time. It should reopen in winter 2009 as the Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club. It will offer something for every taste, but we hope it remains newly charming in a vintage Florida way and not in a nouveau, trendy Florida way.
