Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort

The newest luxury resort in the lower Keys, Tranquility Bay sits on a tropically landscaped 12 acres on the Gulf of Mexico. You'll feel like you're in your own beach house, with gorgeous two- and three-bedroom suites all with water views. All of the subtly decorated rooms come equipped with everything a techno-savvy beach bum needs -- even washers and dryers. Best of all, every room has spacious porches with French doors, wooden deck chairs, and 180-degree views of the water. The restaurant, Butterfly Café, is just as fine, with seasonal seafood menus. A private spa, Island Spice, helps you relax, but, really, this is one of the most relaxing resorts in all the Keys. Grounds sport lagoon pools, gazebos, a great lawn, and a beachfront Tiki bar. There are also activities, from adventure fishing and snorkeling to an adventure kids' club. Note: This is a nonsmoking resort. Smoking isn't even permitted on porches, only in designated areas.
