The dining room of beautiful Brentwood Bay Lodge, about a 20-minute drive north of Victoria, is all warm wood with giant windows overlooking Saanich Inlet. The food prepared here emphasizes fresh, seasonal seafood such as seared B.C. salmon or halibut and king crab risotto. You could also choose from steaks, chops, and chicken breast, plus a vegetarian special or order from the more casual pub menu, which includes thin-crust pizzas and staples such as fish and chips and a halibut burger.
