Frommer's Review
On Victoria's bustling Inner Harbour, directly across the street from the Port Angeles-Victoria ferry dock, the Grand Pacific is more luxurious than the Delta Ocean Pointe, and has rooms that are generally more spacious than those at the Fairmont Empress. Like those other two hotels on the Inner Harbour, the Grand Pacific has its own spa; its health club is better than the others, and features a huge ozonated indoor pool. All rooms have balconies and are attractively and comfortably furnished. Suites provide the best views, overlooking the harbor and the Empress. Bathrooms throughout are fairly small. Fine dining options include the informal Pacific Restaurant and the Mark.
Facilities:
2 restaurants; cafe; bar; indoor pool; superior health club; day spa and salon; Jacuzzi; concierge; tour desk; business center; 24-hr. room service; massage; laundry service; same-day dry cleaning; nonsmoking hotel; squash courts

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
