You can't miss the Executive House, a concrete high-rise looming above the Fairmont Empress on Old Town's east side. Inside, the rooms are bigger than average in size, and -- as in the adjacent and very similar Chateau Victoria -- some intelligent thought has gone into their layout. A recent renovation freshened up the decor and furnishings. Bathrooms are small and functional. Each penthouse-level suite has a Jacuzzi in its own little atrium, a fireplace, a garden terrace with a panoramic view, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen.
