Located on an oceanfront lagoon 20 minutes west of Victoria, this quiet, ecofriendly B&B run by Annette Moen and Dieter Gerhard is super for bird-watchers and nature lovers. The lagoon is on the Pacific Flyway and attracts thousands of migratory birds and other wildlife. The three guest rooms, in their own separate wing, are furnished with Arts and Crafts-inspired beds and comfy leather chairs; they all have a good-size bathroom, kitchen, gas fireplace, and patio area with views of the water. The Honeymoon Suite is flooded with light on two sides; the family room has two levels with a spiral staircase.
