Here's a bargain for you: The Anou has clean, bright, good-size rooms, some with tidy beige carpeting and others with hardwood floors. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are livable, with tile floors and spiffy marble counters. Some are the shower-in-room variety, without tubs, so let the hotel know if that matters to you. The suites are simply huge, all with wood floors, but they're just oversize versions of the standard rooms (with a larger fridge). The restaurant is inviting, and the hotel has a good location in downtown Chinatown. Surrounded by shops and restaurants, the area is abuzz with activity into the evening and can get pretty noisy.
