Intimate, tiny, and luxurious are words that spring to mind when you think of chef Rex Morgan's culinary haven. Booked out weeks in advance, it takes you on a taste extravaganza with a fixed-price menu or the pricier nine-course degustation menu with little refreshers tucked between courses. Visitors might like to try New Zealand venison on a Brussels sprout purée with Maori potato ravioli and honeyed horopito (fern shoots). Whatever you settle on, you'll leave satisfied and impressed.
