A simple one-page menu makes for easy choices in this paisley-embellished corner retreat. European-inspired dishes like vegetable and ricotta lasagna and polenta-dusted calamari make a delicious lunch or light dinner, and the generally friendly staff is knowledgeable about their good wine list. It’s also an excellent coffee stop, and daily sweet treats lining the countertop are there to be eaten. Don’t resist the urge. I like the buzzy atmosphere here and it’s a favorite with all ages, but it’s enormously popular, especially in weekends, so be prepared to wait for a table.
