Of Xi'an's several five-star hotels, the Golden Flower boasts the best rooms: spacious, with huge comfy beds, and well-appointed with nice bathroom and lighting fixtures. Service is solid here. Located outside the city wall, the hotel is inconvenient for walking around, but a 15-minute taxi ride will get you to the center of town. Stay here if you're in town just to see the Terra-Cotta Warriors, as it is closer to the expressway leading to the treasures than other luxury hotels.
