This collection of classic log cabins at the mouth of the Yachats River bewitched my wife and me the first time we saw it. Spacious lawns and old fir trees give the rustic cabins a relaxed old-fashioned appeal that just begs you to kick back and forget your cares. Each log cabin has a tile entry, hardwood floors, a kitchenette, a stone fireplace, and a big picture window that takes in a view of either the beach or the river. Other than that, they're pretty basic. The motel rooms are more up-to-date and have fireplaces and views, and there are two romantic spa cabins. Some rooms have whirlpool tubs.
