Rustic and cozy, the Ocean Haven is a great place to hole up with family or friends. Opt for either the North View or the South View room, and you'll find yourself with two walls of glass overlooking the ocean. When the weather's good, you're only a short walk from the beach and some of the best tide pools around; when it's stormy, watch the waves from your room. (Binoculars are provided.) The Shag's Nest cottage, located across the grass from the main lodge and perched on the edge of the bluff, is my favorite room here. Stay in the cottage and you can lie in bed gazing out to sea with a fire crackling in the fireplace. A minimum stay may apply, and there are a few nature-friendly house rules, but if you're looking for a good value, great views, and rooms that are a little bit unusual, this is the place. There's a shop here that sells organic foods. This place is very enviro-friendly (no Hummers allowed on premises).
