Recommendable economical oceanfront lodgings are just as hard to find on the Oregon coast as they are anywhere else. The See Vue is an exception. The large themed rooms here all have ocean views, and there is beach access from the property. Rooms to choose from include one decorated with Native American murals, one full of memorabilia from the Far East, and a "study" full of books. The building may be old and rather nondescript, as is the roadside location, but the views are fabulous, which makes this a great place to hole up. Several of the rooms have fireplaces, and many have kitchens.
