Getting There

Yuma is on I-8, which runs from San Diego, California, to Casa Grande, Arizona. Amtrak (tel. 800/872-7245) runs passenger service to Yuma on its Sunset Limited route, which runs between Los Angeles and Orlando. The station is at 281 Gila St.

The Yuma International Airport (YUM), 2191 E. 32nd St. (tel. 928/726-5882), is served from Phoenix and Dallas-Fort Worth by American Airlines (tel. 800/433-7300). 

Visitor Information

The Yuma Convention and Visitors Bureau, 201 N. Fourth Ave. (tel. 800/293-0071 or 928/783-0071). The visitor center, which is at the Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park, is open daily from 9am to 5pm (June-Aug, closed on Sun).
