Frommer's Review
Around 1912, when this premises in the Old Town first opened as a butcher shop, the Russian political theorist Vladimir Lenin lived next door, surviving on starvation rations of bread, milk, and coffee, and complaining bitterly about the smells that emanated from the shop whenever it prepared sausages. Today, the site functions as a purveyor of stylish women's clothing, much of it designed in-house by a local personality known as Thelma. If you enter for a look at the evening wear and sportswear, you'll invariably notice an elaborate Jugendstil ceiling fresco that has been in place since its beginning. The clothes are breezy, comfortable, and hip, conveying a wide spectrum of various degrees of formality.
