Regina Zumarraga
Regina Zumarraga is a travel content writer and editor with a strong interest in art and photography. Because she's a firm believer in community-based, ethical tourism, her work serves as a love letter to her home state of Yucatán and the awe-inspiring destinations she visits.
Her writing career began in 2016 as a student journalist for El Altavoz at Universidad Anahuac, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. She’s contributed features to Yucatán Today since 2022, highlighting the region’s art, culture, food, and history. Other bylines include Vacayou and SheBuysTravel (syndicated to MSN), The Miami Herald, and The Sacramento Bee, among other publications.
