Margie Rynn is a freelance writer who has lived in France for over 25 years. She is the author of Frommer’s EasyGuide to Paris, and has contributed to several other Frommer’s guides covering France.

After receiving degrees in theater from UC Berkeley and UCLA, Margie pursued her acting career in New York City before becoming a freelance writer and moving to France in 2000. In addition to her work for Frommer’s, she has written travel articles for a variety of publications including Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel, Wizz, EasyJet Inflight, Friends, Travel & Leisure and Yoga Journal. She also worked as an editorial consultant for the United Nations Environmental Program for several years.

Her areas of expertise include budget travel, France, living overseas, Europe, theater, renewable energies and flamenco.
