American Airlines Launches New Daily Deals—And The First One Is Fantastic

American Airlines is kicking off the new year by launching new daily promotions, and while I don't know what the future deals will be, the first one could truly be called a steal.

Those who book a ticket by midnight PST on Monday, January 4, will be able to snag one free child's ticket for every adult ticket purchased.

Not all destinations are valid. Tickets are only being discounted to the Cayman Islands, Aruba, Jamaica, the Bahamas, and several other island nations.

And the fares have not been inflated to make up for the freebie. A one-way ticket between Boston and Barbados starts at just $170; other flights cost only slightly more.

The airline defines a child as anyone age 15 or younger.

I wish the travel window was longer (although you must book by January 4, the valid travel dates end April 30) but for those who are able to execute the travel safely and adhere to all local Covid-19 policies, this could make the next family vacation far more affordable.

The link where you'll find this deal is www.aa.com/en-us/american-daily-deals—and I suggest you bookmark that. Here's hoping all the upcoming deals, which will also appear there, are as stellar as this one.
