Pavillon Noir
Aix’s Pavillon Noir is an imposing web of iron, concrete, and glass, created by Rudy Ricciotti (who won France's prestigious Grand Prix National de l'Architecture for its unusual design). The renowned local Ballet Preljocaj is based here, and the edifice contains both a theater and four rehearsal studios. Regular ballet and contemporary dance performances take place throughout the year.
