Jebel Hafeet and the Green Mubazzarah
The U.A.E.'s second-highest mountain (1,240m/4,068 ft.) affords a beautiful view of Al Ain and the surrounding desert flat plains. The mountaintop is located up a winding road 13km (8 miles) past the Green Mubazzarah, a popular tourist destination with public hot springs, pools, and chalets that lies at the base of the mountain. There are three viewing points along the beautiful but steep and winding road, and at the top are a large parking area, cafeteria, and the Mercure Hafeet hotel. Bring a camera and some binoculars.
