This historic salt factory, with some of its original machinery still in place, lies halfway between Johnno's and Elvis, overlooking the Salt Pond. The Pumphouse has rafter-shaking live music or some sort of theme party almost every night, not to mention some serious food, including enormous cheeseburgers, pizza, and fancy nightly specials like seafood crepes, local crayfish in garlic-butter sauce, and Lyonnaise salad with bacon and poached egg. In season, The Pumphouse is now also open for lunch. Local soca/reggae/calypso bands like the Musical Brothers and the British Dependency are often on the roster. Let the record show that a Pumphouse rum punch is equivalent to at least two anywhere else.
