Dunromin was picked by Today’s Parent as one of Canada’s top 25 campgrounds and it’s not hard to see why. High season brings communal cookouts, kid-friendly activities, and lots splashing in the well-maintained pool. The attractive 9-hectare (22-acre) waterfront beach property, just across the bay from the famed tidal generating station, has full hookups for trailers and RVs, scenic tenting sites along the water’s edge, a few cabins, RV rentals, a gypsy wagon (an old-timey covered wagon) and a “Lil’ Lilly Pad” (a guestroom the size of a shed). It’s a short drive from Annapolis Royal, with an onsite café.
