The beach hotels here tend to fill up on Friday afternoon and empty out on Sunday. If you're arriving on the weekend or during a holiday week, I recommend you have a reservation. Midweek, almost every place is nearly empty.
If you want to stay in picturesque, isolated Sua, your best bet is the simple Hostal Chagra Ramos (tel. 06/2731-006), which is beautifully located on a piece of land that stretches from the beach up a small hillside.
