Auckland Bridge Climb & Bungy
Bring on the nerves of steel for Auckland Bridge Climb. Based on the successful Sydney activity, walkers are guided underneath and over the top of Auckland Harbour Bridge. The two-hour hour adventure, operated by heights experts AJ Hackett, begins with a full briefing by a professional guide at the base complex. Guests are then fitted with overgarments, radio headsets, and safety harnesses. The climb is achievable for people of almost all ages and all fitness levels, but you must be age 8 and over and preferably not have a fear of heights. Not adrenaline-pumping enough? You can add-on a bungy jump from the bridge if you’re feeling particularly brave (and don’t mind getting your hair wet, as there’s a good chance you’ll touch the ocean below). There’s limited parking on-site, but you can walk from city hotels, or catch the complimentary shuttle bus (which can be booked when you purchase tickets).
