Le Saint-Pèlerin
It’s well worth making a pilgrimage to “The Holy Pilgrim” for good-quality, good-value Burgundian food. The centerpiece is a wood-fired grill, where pretty much everything is cooked. The stars here are the steaks and st-jacques scallops, grilled to perfection and served with one of the house potato dishes (like creamy mash served in its skin). The cheese board is laden with regional favorites like Époisses and all dishes are homemade, including the bread and ice cream. In summer there’s an outside terrace in the narrow street, a block away from the river.
