Most visitors here either stay on the beach at Playa Almejal near El Valle or at a fishing lodge in town. Nearly all hotels have restaurants and offer all-inclusive rates, plus packages for fishing, whale-watching, or surfing. For eating outside of the hotels, you are limited to small, local eateries. In El Valle, the best is Doña Rosalia, with simple fish dishes.
