Three floors of exhibits keep things interesting for kids, mostly ages 2 to 10. Some seem designed simply as places for the little ones to burn off energy, while others are better for quiet fun, and still others, not surprisingly, have an educational bent. In the "let's tire them out" category are the new "Kick It Up" soccer field, "Exergames," and a "Wonders of Water" hall (don't worry: raincoats, waterproof shoes, and a somewhat effective dryer are provided). I was most impressed by the new Nano exhibit, which uses blocks, stuffed animals, and other objects to teach about the sophisticated science of very small things. Need some serenity? The Oasis stocks books, Legos, and other quiet activities for the 6-and-under crowd and their adults. Changing exhibits add to the fun.
