Hungry? Miss Shirley will get you something good to eat, hon. Coconut cream-stuffed French toast, oatmeal with apples and pecans, pulled pork and fried egg sandwiches, fried green tomatoes, and Eggs Benedict (with crab) are among the scrumptious house specialties. This family-run Baltimore landmark also serves up primo omelets and all kinds of pancakes, too. I hear they serve soups, salads, and sandwiches for lunch here, but one look all those breakfast goodies and I'm done. One word of warning: The original cafe in Roland Park packs 'em in on the weekends and waits can be lengthy since no reservations are accepted. Both locations have outdoor seating in warm weather. Shirley's got a food truck serving a small portion of her regular menu so keep an eye out.
