A bit off the beaten track compared to its big brothers on the Parc de Montjuïc, this museum gets fewer visitors. But that’s a shame, as it’s not the dusty old place one might expect of its name: The museum has made a successful effort to remain contemporary and to reflect the sociology of the life of the vibrant city that rages around its quiet hillside location. Go downstairs and visit the clean, well-lighted, see-through storage cases for an extensive collection of objects not on display.
