A landmark from the 1992 Olympics waterfront makeover, the Ritz-Carlton–managed Hotel Arts occupies the lower 33 floors of a 44-story skyscraper known for its contemporary art collection. It’s about 2.5km (1 1/2 miles) southwest of the old city, next to Port Olimpic. Spacious well-equipped guest rooms have built-in headboards, bedside tables, generously sized desks, and sumptuous beds. Pink marble dominates the bathrooms, and views from the windows take in the skyline and the Mediterranean. The hotel also has the city’s only beachfront pool.
