Built into the old palace of the Dukes of Medinacelli at the waterfront edge of the Barri Gòtic, the hotel expanded into an adjacent building and created 19 new rooms in spring 2013. Rooms are bright with pale modern furnishings and ample windows that are double-glazed to seal out noise. Ceilings in some rooms are surprisingly low for a heritage building, but even the most modest rooms are fairly spacious, averaging around 250 square feet.
