Barcelona has two types of tourist offices. The Catalunya regional office deals with Spain in general and Catalunya in particular, with basic information about Barcelona. It has two locations at the airport, El Prat (Terminal 1: tel. 93-478-47-04; Terminal 2: tel. 93-478-05-65), both in the Arrivals hall after you pass Customs. Hours are daily 8:30am to 10pm. These offices are co-managed with Turisme de Barcelona. Another large office in the center of Barcelona at the Palau de Robert, Passeig de Gràcia, 107 (tel. 93-238-80-91;, is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 8pm, Sunday and holidays 10am to 2:30pm.

The Oficina de Informació de Turisme de Barcelona, Plaça de Catalunya 17-S (tel. 93-285-38-34;, deals exclusively with the city of Barcelona. The main office is located underground on the southeast corner of the plaza. In addition to getting detailed information about the city, you can purchase the Barcelona Card here. Sharing the same space is the FC Barcelona shop that sells tickets to the football matches along with all the souvenirs imaginable, and the information desk for the Ruta de Modernisme. The office is open daily 9am to 9pm, although the Modernisme desk is open 10am to 6pm.
