Also part of the Hotel Condes de Barcelona, Loidi is Berasategui’s gastro bistro. Dishes are less elaborate than at Lasarte, but are available only as set menus, of which the whole table must order the same number of courses. The six-course “Martín Selection” gives you most of the menu for about the cost of a main dish at Lasarte. A three-course version is also available. Dishes might include large veal ravioli candied in carrot juice and served with meat broth, and fish with cauliflower purée and beet couscous. In keeping with the food, Loidi is much more casual, though many diners dress smartly for dinner anyway.
