There are a variety of large, generic, but convenient hotels and motels in Hyannis. It has numerous decks and a heated pool, all with harbor views. During high season, the 42 rooms are priced at $239 to $309, including continental breakfast. Within walking distance of Main Street restaurants, shops, and the ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, the Heritage House Hotel, 259 Main St. (www.heritagehousehotel.com; tel. 508/775-7000) has an indoor and an outdoor pool, a hot tub and saunas, and a restaurant/lounge with entertainment. During high season, its 143 rooms are $132 on weekdays and $188 on weekends.
If you prefer more amenities, the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis, at 35 Scudder Ave., at the West End Circle just off Main Street (www.capecodresortandconference.com; tel. 866/828-8259) has an 18-hole par-3 golf course, two restaurants, a fitness center, and indoor-outdoor pools. Summer rates are $190 to $220 double.
Fit for Families in Hyannis

Summer rates for the 260 rooms are $319 to $369 for a double, $479 to $699 for a suite.
