Hotels in Beihai

Like much of the town, many hotels are run down and in poor condition. This is hardly surprising as many of the investors who made money on the first wave of property speculation then used the money to emigrate. There is a well-worn Shangri-La, but it looks like an old warehouse from the outside and is located on one of the dirtiest parts of the beach. Only mollycoddled overseas groups with no other idea stay here any more.
