Housed in a chicly minimalist glassed-in dining room at The Loren—an ultra-modern boutique hotel that opened in 2017—this swanky restaurant serves price-fixed three- and four-course dinners only. Get here a little early so you can start your evening in the swellegent bar area (with its comfy banquettes and turned out crowd). Then its off to the dining room—crisp white linens, flickering candlelight and views of the sea—for a meal crafted from artisanal ingredients (sourced locally and from New England and New York). The menu changes often, but recent winners on it have ranged from charred octopus with chorizo to  an arugula and bloomed basil salad to miso-glazed rockfish with charred bok choy, zucchini and saffron cream. For dessert, diners can select a traditional cheese plate, but that would mean missing the stupendous profiteroles with chocolate Grenache and pistachio ice cream. A top choice for special occasion dining.
