This bright and pretty restaurant is near the center but off the main street, just south of Markt. The main dining room has plain wood floors and large windows with a view to the street; another section has comfortable bench seating and tables in front of the open kitchen. Kristof Deprez and his wife, who own and run the restaurant together, have a passion for travel, and it shows in the menu, which mixes classic French tradition with Asian ingredients and spices. The menu changes often, but you might start with crab salsa with tomatoes, and noodles with tempura, or risotto with confit tomatoes and a parmesan foam. Main courses, equally imaginative, might include tajines of meat or fish, or lamb paired with Indian pickles and Greek yogurt flavored with coriander. This is very good cooking and well worth the premium here.
