A welcome break from the usual mussels-laden menus, Nomad (which stands for No Ordinary Meals And Drinks) is heavy on fresh, organic produce, with an array of meal-sized salads and vegetarian options, including a terrifically zesty eggplant lasagna. The décor, too, is a departure from Bruges’s typical dimly lit, rustic dining rooms; it’s light and bright, with white-washed walls and Scandinavian-inspired touches—right down to the cozy furs tossed over the terrace seats. It’s a mob scene at breakfast, but far quieter at lunch; unfortunately, Friday is the only time the restaurant is open for dinner. There’s also a kids’ menu and for adults, a short but well-curated cocktail list.
