It's a bit of a surprise to find a hotel that features classic British-style decor in the heart of Castilian Spain, but this boutique hotel is a good bet for its attention to comfort (including luxury mattresses and excellent marble bathrooms) and convenient location about 0.8km (1/2 miles) north of the city center. Family rooms can accommodate two adults and two children. The Rice also has some pet-friendly rooms for a 20€ supplement. The hotel’s gym, located a 2-minute walk down the street, is unusually well equipped with workout machines and shared personal trainer.
