Getting There

By Car -- Burlington is located on east-west I-70, 13 miles from the Kansas border. U.S. 385, which runs the length of Colorado's eastern frontier, makes a north-to-south pass through the town.

The Colorado Welcome Center is along I-70 beside Burlington Old Town (tel. 800/288-1334 or 719/346-5554), and is open daily from 8am to 6pm in summer and 8am to 5pm in winter. Getting Around

The town lies on the north side of I-70. Rose Avenue (U.S. 24) runs east-west through the center of Burlington. Main north-south streets are Eighth Street (U.S. 385 N.) on the east side of town, 14th Street (which locals call Main St.), and Lincoln Street (U.S. 385 S.) on the west side of town.
