Both locals and visitors love this place (including a sloth that often travels through the trees right outside around dinnertime, much to the delight of diners). Not only does this small, oceanfront restaurant have one of the best settings in the region (if not the country), with the sea just steps away, and a stunning view down the coastline, but the food is excellent. The Italian owners prepare the freshest local seafood in a variety of ways, touching on their home-country heritage and Caribbean cuisine in equal measure. You might choose between a ceviche or a carpaccio of fresh snapper to start, followed by Sicilian-style pasta with locally caught shrimp, or a filet of mahi-mahi in a coconut cream sauce. After eating, you can saunter onto the beach and commandeer one of the hammocks strung between the trees.
