Barren’s Distillery + Restaurant
♥ PUB—There are three great reasons to find yourself at this distillery restaurant appended to a marina on the away-from-downtown side of Camden Harbor: The cocktails, made with house spirits, are tasty and strong (try anything with blueberries—co-owner Jeremy Howard represents the seventh generation of a blueberry-farming family in nearby Hope); the view of the yachts and tall ships in the harbor, with the Camden Hills behind them, is genuinely jaw-dropping; the burger, with beef from the Galloway cattle of a nearby farm, is a masterpiece. The rest of the pubby menu’s not too bad.
