Any of the 8 carpeted units in the house is comfortable and spotlessly clean; all have mini fridges and private patios, though some views are only of a driveway. One is wheelchair accessible from the parking lot out back. The furniture is new and selected to match the color scheme of each room—eggplant, robin’s egg blue, burnt orange. An oddity in a couple of rooms is the corner Jacuzzi’s position beside the bed. Breakfast is a serious matter with quality and quantity surpassing most B&Bs. The owners offer a 3-bedroom house nearby with a private patio, a barbeque, and a view of the harbor. Fiset is pricey, but if it’s within your budget, it’s the place to stay in Chéticamp; just be sure to ask for a room with a view of the water.
