Al Vecchio Scorfano
Under the same management for three generations, the Scorfano ("Scorpion Fish") used to cater to the prison staff of Capraia; when the penal colony closed in 1986, they opened their doors to tourists. The restaurant has a fun portside setting (book ahead if you want a table directly on the seafront promenade), lively atmosphere, and a "marine" dining room of dark oiled wood and blue linens.
