The Holman Grand Hotel
The Holman is indeed grand—it’s the tallest building around, with a soaring seven-story central atrium at its heart and swank rooms (think shiny hardwood floors, cushy duvets over excellent mattresses, and walls of windows for light and views). Particularly pleasing are the spa-inspired bathrooms and the waterfall pool (your kids will like the latter, too). Underground walkways allow guests to hit the mall or see a play at the Confederation Centre without having to dress to go outside.
