A Life of Pie
It all started in 1947, with Marion making chicken pot pies in her home. She built a bakery next door and was soon making fruit pies. Though Marion is no longer at the stove, Marion’s Pie Shop, at 2022 Route 28 in Chatham (www.marionspieshopofchatham.com; tel. 508/432-9439) still churns out sublime sweet and savory pies using her special pastry crust recipe.
