Run by a friendly couple, this spot has a romantic garden setting and serves good local food based on seasonal produce and the catch of the day. Unlike many Ciudadela restaurants, many of the house specials are braised meat dishes—lamb trotters, slow-cooked suckling pig. The house “hamburger” is made with freshly ground veal and is presented in a nest of filo with a fried egg on top. When big sardines are in, order one grilled; the waiter will de-bone it before it comes to the table.
